Canyoning is one of the most famous and spectacular activities you can do in Cantabria, specifically in the area of Potes and Picos de Europa.
It involves descending the course of a river within a natural gorge, where large waterfalls, pools, and slides are formed. We will use the technique of abseiling to go down the waterfalls, swim through the river, jump into large and beautiful natural pools, or slide down the slides that the water has formed in the rock. A super dynamic and fun activity where both adults and children will enjoy themselves like kids!

ADULTS' ROUTE
Highly recommended for families, couples, or groups of friends who want to enjoy a fun outdoor activity or for people looking to get started in this sport. The route combines long and fun slides with jumps and more challenging sections, such as 20m waterfalls or free-hanging abseils. With the advantage of always having an escape route, which allows us to adapt the difficulty to each person.
CHILDREN'S ROUTE
Very suitable for families with children aged 7 to 12, fun and easy. It is perfect for the little ones to have fun outdoors and discover the magic of nature, in an environment that will make them use all their skills and keep them constantly exploring. It's not the first time a child has seriously told us: "This is the best thing I've ever done in my life!" 😉

WHO WILL ACCOMPANY YOU?
All our guides hold the official certification from the Ministry of Education as Sports Technicians in Canyoning. This is the only official European certification that accredits Canyoning Guides (Royal Decree 702/2019, 29th November).
Adventure activities in Cantabria are currently not regulated to require companies to certify their guides, but we do. Through professionalism, we commit to your safety.

CERTIFIED GUIDES
All our guides are professionals accredited by completing the course of Sports Technician in Canyoning. This is the only official and international certification that allows guiding in Canyoning activities.

SAFETY IN EQUIPMENT
We only use safety equipment in perfect working condition. We inspect ropes, helmets, harnesses, eights, carabiners, and slings daily and replace them at the first sign of wear.
THIS ACTIVITY
We (1 adult + 2 x under eight year olds) went canyoning yesterday with Potes Aventura. It was a fantastic experience. The length and difficulty of the canyon was perfect for the children and also fun as an adult. It was 20/22 degrees, cloudy with some sun. The kids didn't get too cold. The equipment was all new or almost new. Our guide/instructor (Carlos) was phenomenal. He was friendly and entertaining but most importantly explained things well and filled the kids with confidence encouraging them to push their limits and enjoy themselves to the maximum. I couldn't recommend it more.

Fantastic morning with our wonderful guide Raul. Fun, challenging activity, perfect for keeping cool. We were a family group, Mum and 3 boys 8, 13, 17. Raul was great at dealing with different abilities and we had an amazing time. Highly recommend.
We went canyoning today with our kids (9yrs,12yrs,14yrs) and it was fantastic! The guides are super friendly. We went out with Carlos, he is a fantastic guide! The children had a lot of fun with him, which made it a great experience!
Thank you to Carlos for this amazing afternoon of canyoning. The Deva valley is truly beautiful and the track is easy enough (more gentle than in the Bavella canyon) so would highly recommend with children. Carlos was super enthusiastic and patient with our youngest boy, it made all the difference.

We had a great afternoon with our kids under the expert guidance of guide Eduardo. I can 100% recommend this activity for a family with children. Our youngest is eight but was able to join the canyoning without any difficulty. Guide Eduardo was very kind to our children, patient, explained everything very well ... the nature of the canyon is overwhelmingly beautiful and it is also very adventurous for children. At no point did we find it dangerous and that was thanks to Eduardo's expert guidance! Highly recommended!
